Grayson York Richmond

I like figuring out how things work and then figuring out how to build them. So far, that has meant CNC machines, casting, robotics, electronics, and code.

How I Think

“When your mistakes melt away, only the lessons remain.”

Most of what I know in the shop came from building something, figuring out why it failed, and trying again. That is how I moved from metal casting and welding into machining, CNC, robotics, software, and AI. I like the point where an idea has to survive contact with the real world.

I carry a notebook everywhere. It is full of sketches, measurements, project ideas, and fixes I do not want to forget.
